Camera is frozen in USB transfer mode?

If your Revl Arc camera displays a USB cord indicator on the LED screen, your camera may be stuck in USB transfer mode.

To resolve this issue power cycle the camera either by
  • [for non-CIC cameras like this one] removing the battery for 10 seconds and reinstalling it. Power on the camera to make sure it boots up correctly (shows the REVL logo, battery level, etc.)
  • [for CIC cameras] press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to force a power-off. Power on the camera to confirm it boots up correctly.
A camera can get stuck in this mode if its improperly docked, removed while transferring, or the dock or camera connector are dirty or damaged.
