What hardware is involved in a Revl coaster installation?

A RevlX coaster install has many components. Look here for an easy to understand overview.

Beacons
E8

We will use beacons to control the WTM that are on your carts. We will use a minimum of 6 beacons to control the operation of the cameras and the WTMs. They will be configured and installed by a qualified Revl technician.

Kiosks

Kiosks provide an automated purchase experience for your guests after they have completed their ride.  Guests san scan their RFID media, watch their preview, and purchase their videos. Each kiosk has three components. The kiosk, the RFID reader, and the payment terminal. They can be configured to use WiFi or Ethernet. They will be installed and configured by a qualified Revl technician.

Cameras and Mounts

Each of your coaster carts will be equipped with an arm on the front with a camera at the end facing the rider(s). They are designed to be easy to remove so the cart can be serviced. These will be installed and configured by a qualified Revl technician.

Wireless Transfer Modules (WTM)

Each of your coaster carts will be equipped with a Wireless Transfer Module attached to the backrest frame. The unit is responsible for transferring footage from the camera to the RevlxX Server. It is powered by a common power tool battery that can last for 12+ hours of operation.

Network

The network for RevlX coaster install has a few extra components beyond what is listed above. Everything on the Revl network can be remotely accessed by the Revl support team.
1. The RevlX Server
2. Router
3. High powered WT access point
4. Access points for kiosks and WTM updates
