WTM Troubleshooting

A basic overview of WTM system troubleshooting and LED indicators.

Troubleshooting;

Carts BLUE light for an extended period.
This indicates that uploads from the cart to the server may be slow or backed up. This can happen during high volume periods. The WTM units are able to recover from slow or backed up uploads automatically. If the lights start to red then there is a more serious concern that will need attention from support.

Solid RED or YELLOW
This indicates that the WTM has encountered an error it can not recover from automatically. Please notify support with the cart number and date/time of the incident.

How to improve the performance of the WTM units if flashing red lights
Power cycle the camera. Press the top button in the camera (oval-shaped white symbol) for about 10 to 30 seconds to turn it off.  If the camera doesn’t turn off, then it means that is stuck and the battery needs to be disconnected.

NO lights at all
Check the WTM battery charge using the button on the battery. Replace with a fresh battery if the indicator shows 1 or 0 lights.

Carts are taking a long time to boot up in the morning.
This may be due to a software update that is being run on the carts. We will do our best to notify you when there s a software update that will effect the carts in the morning. If carts have not booted after 10 minutes please contact support.
